Detected Condition Possible Cause
The sensor voltage should be the following for 2 sec. and
more, after ignition switch is turned ON.
0.17 V ≤ Sensor voltage < 4.70 V
NOTE
• If SDS is used, P1651-H is indicated when
sensor voltage is higher than specified
value.
• If SDS is used, P1651-L is indicated when
sensor voltage is lower than specified
value.
• TO sensor circuit open or short
• TO sensor malfunction
• ECM malfunction
NOTE
• When P1651-H is displayed, it is possible that
TO sensor circuit is shorted to Vcc or ground
circuit is open.
• When P1651-L is displayed, it is possible that
TO sensor circuit is open or shorted to
ground or Vcc circuit is open.
