Removal
1) Support the motorcycle with the center stand.
CAUTION
!
Make sure that the motorcycle is supported
securely.
2) Remove the rear wheel speed sensor by removing
the mounting bolts. Refer to “Rear Wheel Speed
Sensor Removal and Installation in Section 4E
(Page 4E-70)”.

1. Rear sprocket nut “a”: Clearance : 23 N⋅m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
2. Rear axle nut “b”: 0.3 – 1.5 mm (0.012 – 0.059 in) : Apply grease.
3. Brake caliper mounting bolt : 60 N⋅m (6.0 kgf-m, 43.5 lb-ft) : Apply thread lock to thread part.
4. Brake disc bolt : 100 N⋅m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 lb-ft)
5. Rear wheel speed sensor : 22 N⋅m (2.2 kgf-m, 16.0 lb-ft)
