Rear
ABS control unit/HU ground wire inspection
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Remove the seat. Refer to “Exterior Parts Removal
and Installation (GSF650/S/A/SAK7) in Section 9D
(Page 9D-6)”.
3) Disconnect the battery (–) lead wire.
4) Remove the left frame cover. Refer to “Exterior Parts
Removal and Installation (GSF650/S/A/SAK7) in
Section 9D (Page 9D-6)”.
5) Remove the fuse box mounting bolt (1).
6) Disconnect the ABS control unit coupler (2).
7) Check for continuity between “24” (B/W) at the
coupler and the battery (–) terminal, also “25” (B/W)
at the coupler and the battery (–) terminal.

(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
