Exhaust System: 1K-6
• Tighten the exhaust pipe bolts (3) and exhaust pipe
mounting bolt (4) to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Exhaust pipe bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-
ft)
Exhaust pipe mounting bolt (c): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-
m, 16.5 lb-ft)
• Install the connectors (5).
CAUTION
!
Replace the connectors with new ones.
NOTE
When installing a new connector, remove all
of the old sealer from the exhaust pipe and
muffler. Apply the exhaust gas sealer to both
the inside and outside of the new connector.
: Muffler seal (MUFFLER SEAL LOCTITE
5920 (commercially available) or equivalent)
• Tighten the muffler mounting nut and muffler
connecting bolts to the specified torque.
