9D-20 Exterior Parts:
• Tighten the steering damper mounting bolt to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque
Steering damper mounting bolt (b): 23 N·m (2.3
kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
• Rout the wire harness and brake hose properly. Refer
to “Wiring Harness Routing Diagram in Section 9A
(Page 9A-5)”.
Pillion Rider Handle
Removal
1) Remove the rear seat.
2) Remove the pillion rider handle (1) by removing the
bolts.
Installation
1) Install the pillion rider handle.
2) Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Pillion rider handle bolt: 33 N·m (3.3 kgf-m, 24.0
lb-ft)
3) Install the rear seat.
Frame Cover
Removal
1) Remove the front and rear seats.
2) Remove the pillion rider handle.
3) Disconnect the rear combination light coupler (1)
and seat lock cable (2).
4) Remove the following fasteners, screws and bolts.
5) Remove the caps (3).
