Chapter 3 Part Replacements
This chapter provides the necessary information about disassembly and
assembly of the printer components and parts.
Unless specifically specified, reverse the disassembling procedures to
assemble the parts.
Pay attention to the locations of latches, lubrication and the
disassembling procedures.
Take precaution of electrostatic. Avoid touching the electronic
components unless you are discharged on a protective ground.
The ‘left’ and ‘right’ in this chapter refer to the view by an operator
standing in front of the printer.

■ Medium size Philips head “+” screwdriver

Small size flat-bladed “-” screwdriver

A pair of pliers

Thickness gauge
* There is no difference between "empty" and "filled" bullets in the drawings.
"Filled" bullets are used in complicated background for a better viewing.
Disconnect the power cord before taking the printer apart.
