6.2 Lubrication
Lubrication is used to protect the printers, for optimum performance and to prevent failures.
In addition, t he type of lubricant used affects the performance and life of the printer, especially
at low temperatures. We recommend the use of lubricants and greases as shown in the table
below.

The above lubricants are fully synthetic lubricants, with added PTFE (Teflon) and other solid
lubricating materials. When substituting with another lubricant, clean off the previous lubricant
first, because different types of lubricants mixing will affect the performance of the lubricant
and printer.
Lubrication methods:
-Add lubricant once every 6 months or 1 million lines of printing
-When reassembling printer parts, clean off dust and old lubricant, then add new lubricant.
Never lubricate the Carriage and the Carriage guide shaft as it may
prevent the carriage from smooth running after some t ime.
