3.2.21 Disassemble the Horizontal Position Sensor Assy
1) Disassemble the Horizontal Position Sensor Assy

Lift the Code Stripe upwards and towards the right.→①,②

Disengage the Clamp Code Stripe (A) and pull out the Clamp with the Code Stripe
towards the left.→③

Take out the Horizontal Position Sensor Assy. →④
2) Assemble the Horizontal Position Sensor Assy
 Install the Sensor Assy to the inner right side of the Carriage. Hold it in place to the
bottom of the latch. Ensure the bottom of the Assy is securely latched to the
Carriage.

Be aware of the Cod e Stripe orientation: printed text to the left end and facing
down.
 From the right slit on the Carriage, insert the Code Stripe in between the Horizontal
Sensor and out from the left of the Carriage.
Avoid scratches on the Code Stripe which causes incorrect carriage positioning.
