3.2.25 Disassemble the Carriage
1) Disassemble the Carriage Guide Shaft D14.0

Pull out the Head Gap Sleeve. →①

Take out the E-ring. →②

Pull out the Head Gap Sleeve.→③

Pull out the Carriage Guide Shaft D14.0.→④

Take out the Parallelism Sleeves.→⑤,⑥
2) Disassemble the Carriage
 Take out the Carriage. →⑦

Take out the Timing Belt. →⑧

Take out the Felt TW43. →⑨
Precautions on assembling the Carriage and its Shaft:

The longer portions (axially) of the Parallelism Sleeves are facing outwards.

Wipe the hole of the Carriage with a lint-free cloth soaked with alcohol. Ensure the
Carriage can move within the Shaft freely.

Guide the Shaft through the circular hole on the Side Plate Left and then guide the right
end of the Shaft through the Side Plate Right.

Ensure the Timing Belt is not press during the whole process.

Cap the two ends of the Shaft with Head Gap Sleeves.
