Procedures for SPG600 External Modules
Perform the Access Procedure (page 6-12) before doing any procedure in this
group. This group contains the following procedures:
Top cover
Front-panel assembly
RFI filter
Top Cover
1. Locate module to be removed: Locate the top cove in the location diagram
SPG600 External Modules, Figure 6-2, on page 6-8.
2. Orient the instrument: Set the SPG600 so its bottom is down on the work
surface and its rear is facing you.
3. Remove the top cover: See Figure 6-7.
a. Use a screwdriver with a #2 phillips tip to remove the sixteen screws
securing the top cover to the chassis.
b. Lift the top cover off the chassis.
4. Reinstall the top cover: Perform step 3 in reverse order to reinstall the top
cover.
