Installation

1. Install driven assembly (1).

2. Install spacer (5), lock washer (6), and hex head
screw (7).
3. Install lock washer (3) and hex head screw (4).
4. Tighten turf groomer and roller shaft set screws (2).
5. Adjust mower height-of-cut. (See “Height-of-Cut
Adjustment” on page 8-14.)
6. Adjust turf groomer height-of-cut. (See “Turf Groomer
Height-of-Cut Adjustment” on page 10-7.)
Front Roller and Turf Groomer
NOTE
The front roller and turf groomer shaft must be removed
and installed together.
Removal and Installation
See Figure 10-45.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Remove drive assembly. (See “Drive Assembly” on
page 10-18.)

3. Loosen set screws (1).
4. Remove roller (2) and turf groomer (3) as an
assembly.
Installation Note
Install front roller and turf groomer by reversing the order
of removal.
