Scraper Blade Assembly
Disassembly and Assembly

1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Retract the kickstand and allow the mower to rest on
the traction roller or transport wheels.
3. Place blocks under the frame to remove weight from
the front roller.
4. Loosen lock nuts and square head screws (10 and
13.)
5. Remove nut (1), lock washer (2), flat washer (3), and
carriage bolt (12).
6. Remove nut (7), lock washer (6), flat washer (5), and
carriage bolt (8).
7. Slide roller brackets (9 and 14) toward center of roller
(11).
8. Remove roller (11), scraper (4), and roller brackets (9
and 14) from machine as an assembly.
9. Remove roller bracket (9) from roller (11) and scraper
(4).
10. Remove scraper (4).
Installation Notes
• Install the scraper by reversing the order of removal.
• Apply lithium grease NLGI Grade 2 to the outer face
of roller brackets (9 and 14) before assembly.
• Set height-of-cut. (See “Height-of-Cut Adjustment”
on page 8-14.)
