NOTES
• Apply anti-seize compound to the threads of the
bedknife shoe mounting screws before installing.
• Install shims (if any) in the same locations as
recorded during removal.
4. Install the bedknife shoe mounting screw (5),
shakeproof cone washer (6), and shim(s) (7) in the
frame and bedknife shoe.
5. Adjust bedknife. (See “Bedknife-to-Reel Adjustment”
on page 8-13.)

1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on

2. Remove drive chains. (See “Drive Chains” on
page 5-9.)

3. Using a punch, remove pin (2) from the collar (3).
4. Remove the collar (3) from the reel shaft (4).
5. Remove reel bearing (1) from reel shaft (4).
6. Remove the right frame. (See “Right Frame” on
