CAUTION
Figure 10-47
1. Measure and record the distance between the face of
the locking collar and the bearing face (1) on both
ends of the shaft assembly.

2. Loosen set screw (5) in locking collar (4) and remove
bearing shaft assembly (2) and key (3) from both
ends of the shaft.

3. Remove the locking collar (6), two spacers (7),
blades (8), and spacers (9) from shaft (10).

4. Remove two spacers (11) from the shaft (12).
5. Loosen the set screw (14) and remove the locking
collar (13) from the shaft (12).
To prevent personal injury and damage to cutting
edges, handle the vertical mower shaft assembly
with extreme care.
