Strip Brush
Removal and Installation
See Figure 10-66.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

2. Loosen jam nut (3) on both sides of the mower.
3. Remove square head bolt (4), jam nut (3), and
washers (2) from roller bracket (1) on both sides of
the mower.
4. Remove brush (5).
Installation Notes
• Install the strip brush by reversing the order of
removal.
• Do not tighten the mounting hardware until the strip
brush is properly adjusted. (See “Strip Brush
Adjustment” on page 10-8.)
