Vertical Reel—Assembly

Figure 10-60
1. Install jam nut (2) on blade roller shaft (1), the same
distance from the end of the shaft as noted during
removal.
2. Tighten set screw (4).
3. Press bearing (3) onto blade roller shaft (1) until
bearing is seated against the shoulder (5) on the
shaft.

4. Install two spacers (8) on blade roller shaft (9).
NOTE
The blades must be installed so that the indexing holes
are rotated 60° from the hole in the previous blade.
Clockwise or counterclockwise rotation is acceptable, as
long as the direction of rotation remains the same.
5. Install first blade (7), noting the position of the
indexing hole (10).
6. Install a spacer (6) between the blades.
7. Continue installing blades (7) and spacers (6). Rotate
each blade 60° from the previous blade, using the
index holes as reference.

8. Install two spacers (12) and jam nut (14) on blade
roller shaft (13). Tighten set screw (11).

9. Press bearing (15) on blade roller shaft (16) until the
bearing is seated against the shoulder (17) of the
shaft.
