12. Slide cable guide (13) down until it touches throttle
lever (12). Tighten cable guide set screw (11).
13. Move throttle paddle (14) to highest setting. Engage
bail and verify that cable guide (13) does not touch
throttle lever (12). Adjust high paddle stop screw (16)
as needed.
To adjust the stop screw:
a. Loosen jam nut (15).
b. Turn stop screw (16) clockwise to raise screw,
counterclockwise to lower screw.
c. Tighten jam nut (15).
14. Install air cleaner and air cleaner cover. (Refer to
engine manual.)
15. Install throttle cover. (See “Throttle Cover” on
page 3-5.)
Idle Speed Adjustment
Refer to the engine manufacturer’s manual for adjustment
information and specifications.
