15.5.1 Ribbon Motor (Take-up)
1) Remove the side panel (L). (Refer to Section 3.2.)
2) Disconnect the relay cable from the ribbon motor (take-up).
3) Remove the two SMW-3x6 screws to detach the ribbon motor (take-up).
4) Replace the ribbon motor (take-up) with a new one, then reassemble in the reverse order of
remov
al.
• Fit the positioning tabs of the ribbon motor (take-up) into the positioning holes in the ribbon
motor mounting plate.
• Apply FLOIL HTM-308 to the pulley using a soft cloth.
5) Refer to Section 5.5.28 to fine adjust the ribbon motor torque.
