<mask2>: Same interpretation as <mask>. This <mask2> is only applicable when CCU is going
to generate default IP Address for the
LANA or LANB interfaces. CCU will use default
Network Mask2 when <mask2> is omitted: 0xFFFFFFF8 (i.e. 29 bits).
Default IP Address:
CCU will generate default IP Address when the Host Address (lower part of given IP Address)
is zero.
LANA | LANB Interface:
When Network Address is zero: Address = “192.168.0.0”.
When Network Mask is zero: Mask = 0xFFFF0000 (16 bits) when 16 bits Host Address is zero.
Mask = 0xFFFFFF00 (24 bits) when 16 bits Host Address isn’t zero.
When Network Mask-2 is undefined: Mask-2 = 0xFFFFFFF8 (29 bits).
Default 32 bits IP Address is generated by concatenating Network Address, Node Address, LanA/B and Host
Address as shown in figure below:
SAT Interface:
When Network Address is zero: Address = “10.0.0.0”.
When Network Mask is zero: Mask = 0xFFFF0000 (16 bits).
Default 32 bits IP Address is generated by concatenating Network Address and Host/Node Address as shown in
figure below:
