Center Ball Size Calibration(PYST)
1) Acquire the PANO BALL PHANTOM image and open it.
Refer to the Right and Left Pin Distance Calibration to step 1) through 9) for the
image acquisition procedure.
If Canine Laser Beam is not aligned with the Laser Beam Jig correctly during PANO
BALLPHNATOM Alignment, the error can occur during BALL SIZE Measurement.
Align Canine Laser Beam correctly for the PANO BALLPHANTOM image
acquisition.
2) In the Z box, type 5. Then drag the mouse to see the Center Balls.
3) Click the starting point of the Right Center Ball and read the X value by pixel.
4) Click the end of the Right Center Ball and read the X value by pixel.
5) Subtract the starting point value from the endpoint value to measure Right Center Ball size.
6) Make sure that Right Center Ball size meets the standard (50 ~ 51 pixels)
7) Do the steps 3) through 6) for Left Center Ball.
8) If the Center Ball Size does not meet the standard, do the steps that follow:
① Close the Viewer.
② In the Panorama tab, type [SPM_PY?_] and click Send to read the current PYST value.
③ Correct the PYST value and type [SPM_PYST_####] and click Send.
When you change PYST Value 5, the BALL SIZE will be changed by approximately 1
Pixel.
Increase PYST Value Increase BALL Size
Decrease PYST Value Decrease BALL Size
9) Exit VAKCAP and acquire the BALL PHANTOM image again.
10) Make sure that the center ball size meets the standard.
11) Do the steps repeatedly until the center pin position calibration is complete
