Solution:
1. Check if the TBM is equipped with an encoder.
If... Then...
an encoder is not present, Make sure no encoder (0x00) is specified in the
VVSConfig.ini.
[BREAKER1]
Actuator =0x65
LeftCam =0x41
RightCam =0x00
IObox =0x0B
FrontClamp =2
RearClamp =4
Encoder =0x00 (no encoder is present)
EncReuse =-1
Split =0
an encoder is present, Make sure the address specified in the VVSConfig.ini is
the same as the one specified on the BK5120 module
(refer to Addresses of all devices in the CAN network on
page 3
15).
Make sure that the Canbus network cable is connected to
the right Channel.
The failure of detecting the encoder could also be due to
the Canbus Cable connected to the wrong Channel of the
Canbus Card.
2. Restart after solving the problem:
Turn off the power of the BK5120 module.
Turn the power on again.
Restart VVS.
Check if the initialization of the BK5120 module was successful.
The run led should be uninterrupted green.
