9.2 Commissioning
The [Commissioning] menu is used to execute all major commissioning func-
tions:
Learn actuators and sensors in and out
Learn hand-held transmitters and central transmitters in and out
Learn actuators and sensors out by entering the serial number
Load the factory settings
Delete the routing tables of the participating devices in the network
Change the radio channel for all devices in the network
NOTE The [Commissioning] menu can only be opened after you au-
thorise yourself as a specialist dealer by entering a password
(see Chapter 9.4 on page 125).
9.2.1 Leaning actuators/
sensors in/out
Before WMS devices can be operated, they must be included as a device in
the respective radio network. The central transmitter can detect WMS receiv-
ers and sensors and add them to its network.
CAUTION
When learning in, it is important that you select the product type of the
connected product. Selection of the wrong product type can lead to
malfunctions and may result in damage to the connected product.
NOTE Once the product type has been selected, it can no longer be changed di-
rectly. To program a WMS Plug receiver for another product type, the receiver
must be deleted out of the network entirely and learned in again.
NOTE Some devices (e.g. sensors) first need to be woken up by pressing a button
so that they can be found by the central transmitter during scanning.

Proceed as follows to learn in actuators and sensors.
