17-563 Machine Fails to Communicate with Xerox Edge
Server Error RAP
The machine failed to communicate with the Xerox Edge Server.
Procedure
Perform the steps that follow:
1. Ensure that the Xerox SMart eSolutions settings are correct.
2. Check the network cable and connection.
3. Check that the machine IP address is correct.
4. Check the SMart eSolutions edge host is connected and operational.
17-700 / 710 BOOTP Error RAP
The machine displays the error message “DHCP, or BOOTP, causing a machine communica-
tion error.
Procedure
1. Switch off, then switch on the machine.
2. Check BOOTP and network configuration.
