Removing the propeller shaft hous-
ing assembly
1. Remove the ring nut from the propeller
shaft housing, use the special service
tools.
NOTE:
9 Straighten the one tab 1 of the lock wash-
er, then turn the ring nut.
9 When the ring nut toward to “OFF”.
2. Remove the propeller shaft housing use
the special tools.
Disassembling the propeller shaft
assembly
1. Remove the spring 1, then the cross pin
2, dog clutch 3, spring 4, slider 5, and
shift plunger 6.
Disassembling the propeller shaft

1. Remove the reverse gear.
