TROUBLESHOOTING
Item
Engine forcibly stops when the vehicle is left idling for a long period.
Procedure
If another error code is displayed at the same time, check the other error code first and repair it.
1. Allow to idle for a long period.
• Turn the main switch to “OFF”.
• Check whether it is possible to start the engine.
2. Malfunction in ECU.
• Replace the ECU, and complete the service.
Refer to “REPLACING THE ECU (Engine Control Unit)” on page 8-56.
Can the engine starting?
YES
→ Service is completed.
NO
→ Go to step 2.
