6. Malfunction in ECU.
• Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 31)
• Confirm that spark plug does not sparking.
• Replace the ECU, and complete the service.
Refer to “REPLACING THE ECU (Engine Control Unit)” on page 8-56.
7. Delete the DTC and check that the MIL goes off.
• Confirm that the DTC has a condition of “Recovered” using the YDT, and then delete the DTC.
