5. Connection of ECU coupler.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• Disconnect the coupler and check the pins (bent or broken terminals and locking condition of the
pins).
6. Wire harness continuity.
• Disconnect the front wheel sensor coupler “1”, ABS ECU coupler “2” and ECU coupler “3”.
• Open circuit check
Is the coupler condition normal?
YES
→ Go to step 5.
NO
a. Connect the coupler securely or replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 16)
c. Rotate the front wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES
→ Go to step 10, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 5.
Is the coupler condition normal?
YES
→ Go to step 6.
NO
a. Connect the coupler securely or replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 16)
c. Rotate the front wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES
→ Go to step 10, and complete the service.
NO
→ Go to step 6.
