Prerequisites for installation
The following preparations must be made prior to installation of the
CMM by ZEISS service engineers:
– Provision of steel plates
– Installation of power supply
– Installation of compressed-air supply
– Adaptation of CMM to room temperature
You will find the data required for preparation in the document
"Installation Instructions“.
Adaptation to room temperature
During start-up of the CMM, the temperature of all CMM parts must
be stabilized at a minimum temperature of 15°C.
At least two days in
advance
• Store all parts of the CMM in a place having an ambient tempera-
ture of at least 15°C at least two days prior to installation.
