Caution!
Theenablecommandshouldbeconguredafterserveripiscongured.Ifserveripisnot
congured,thesystemdisplaysamessage,promptingthattheautomaticuploadfunction
cannotbeenabled.Ifacommunicationexceptionoccurredbetweentheswitchandthe
serverwhentheuploadfunctionwastriggeredlasttime,thecongurationlecannotbe
uploadedsuccessfullythistime.Thesystemuploadsthecongurationleswhenthenext
triggeringtimecomes.
4.8UpgradingtheSoftwareVersion
Note:
Normally,versionupgradeisneededonlywhentheoriginalversiondoesnotsupportsome
functionsortheswitchoperatesabnormallyduetosomespecialcauses.Improperversion
upgradeoperationsmayresultinupgradefailureandstartupfailureofthesystem.So,
beforeversionupgrade,getfamiliarwiththeprinciplesandoperationsoftheZXR102900E
andmastertheupgradeprocedure.
Versionupgradeoperationsperformedinproperandimproperswitchsystemsare
different.

Ifthesystemstatusallows,checktheversioninformationbeforeandaftertheupgrade.
Inglobalcongurationmode,usetheshowversioncommandtodisplaythesystem
hardwareandsoftwareversioninformation.
