WBC Histograms
Figure 3.7 WBC Histograms
The CELL-DYN 3200 can present the WBC scatter information as two histograms:
NWBC-LYM-MONO (N-L-M) and Mono-Poly (M-P). The NOC (Nuclear Optical
Count) data can also be presented as a histogram. (Refer to Figure 3.7.) These
histograms may be displayed and printed at the operator’s request.
NWBC-LYM-MONO Histogram
The scatter information is plotted in a histogram format with the relative number
of cells on the Y axis and the NWBC, Lymphocyte and Monocyte size distribution
data on the X axis.
MONO-POLY Histogram
The scatter information is plotted in a histogram format with the relative number
of cells on the Y axis and the mononuclear and polymorphonuclear size
distribution data on the X axis.
NOC Histogram
The NOC data is plotted in a histogram format with the relative number of nuclei
on the Y axis and the size distribution data on the X axis.
