5. Raise the separator to its upright position.
6. Place a ticket on the paper separator and adjust the guides so that they barely
touch the edges of the ticket.
7. Pull the bail lever forward. The ticket will automatically feed into place.
Release the paper bail lever.
8. Be sure the printer is deselected (Sel indicator is not illuminated) and set the
Top of Form by pressing and holding the TOF/Quiet key and pressing the
Form Feed key to move the ticket up or pressing the Line Feed key to move
the ticket down. (The ticket moves in very fine increments so it can be
precisely positioned.)
NOTE: The ticket will only move down to a certain point to prevent
potential ticket jams. Do not move the top of the page below the
paper bail.
9. Position the ticket so that the lower red line on the paper shield (located
between the print head and the paper) is positioned where the first line of
printing should occur.
NOTE: When the Top of Form is set, the position is retained in the printer
memory until it is reset.
10. Press the Sel key to select the printer. The printer is now ready to print.
