Chapter 8. Point of Sale (POS)
Flat Amount This field is displayed only if the Add-on Entry Type is F
for flat amount. Enter the amount to add to the POS
transaction when this addon code is selected. It can be
up to 7.2 digits long. For example, if you charge a flat
amount to process C.O.D. orders, enter that amount here.
Or enter 0 here and you can enter the flat amount later
at POS.
Percentage This field is displayed only if the Add-on Entry Type is P for
percentage. Enter the percentage of the subtotal to add
to the POS transaction when this addon code is selected.
It can be up to 3.2 digits long. For example, if you charge
15% for a restocking fee, enter “15” here. It must be
entered with a negative sign because the POS
transaction will be a return which automatically reduces
the customer’s account. Or you can enter 0 (zero) here
and have the operator enter the addon percentage at the
time of making the POS transaction.
