SYSTEM MANAGER—1. BASIC STORE INFORMATION
1 From the System Manager Variable File Maintenance Menu, select 1 for Basic Company
Information.
2 The computer displays the System Manager Basic Company Info screen:

3. Current Fiscal Year 2000

The entries are filled in. Make sure the responses are correct for the following
fields:
CAUTION: Not all fields are used at this stage of getting the POS module started. Press Tab to
bypass a field. Press Esc to back up one field.

1. Company Name This name appears at the top of every menu and most
screens in the Dimensions system.
2. Number of Stores (1-999) Check the number of stores.
3. Current Fiscal Year Enter the current fiscal year, 4 digits. The current Totals
File (T2ssyy.D) must match the year entered here. The
filename T2ssyy.D contains the store number (ss) and the
current year (yy).
3 After changing the entries, the computer asks:
Save Changes <Y/N>?
Enter Y if all entries are correct. Or enter N to not make the changes.
4 When done, press Esc when the cursor is at
