BEARING AND OIL SEAL INSPECTION
Check bearings on gearbox cover.
Rotate each bearing’s inner ring with fingers.
Check if bearings can be rotated smoothly and silently, and
also check if bearing outer ring is mounted on gear tightly.
If bearing rotation is uneven, noising, or loose bearing
mounted, then replace it.
Check oil seal for wear or damage, and replace it if necessary.
Check gearbox bearing as the same way above, and replace it
if necessary.
