5.4 Prevent Bales of Unusual Shape
If an unusual bale shape occurs or the belts move laterally, clean the rollers.
Procedure
1. Make sure that the bale chamber is empty.
2. Disengage the Power Take-O (PTO).
3. Stop the engine of the tractor and remove
the key.
4. Pull the wire (2) behind the hook (1) to lock
the rocker arm.
5. Start the tractor engine.
6. Open the tailgate with the controller in the
tractor.
7. Lower the tailgate to 1/3 open, the belts at
this time are loose.
8. Stop the engine of the tractor and remove the key.

9. Stop movement of the tailgate with the
hydraulic shut-o valve (1).
10. Disconnect the electrical connection
between the tractor and the machine.
11. All parts that move must stop before you
continue to the subsequent step.
12. Disconnect the drive shaft.
13. Clean the rollers in the machine and remove
all the material.
14. Connect the drive shaft.
15. Connect the electrical connection between
the tractor and the machine.
16. Release the tailgate with the shut-o valve.

17. Release the wire (2) from the hook (1) to
unlock the rocker arm.
18. Start the tractor engine.
19. Open the tailgate with the controller.
20. Close the tailgate with the controller.
At this time you can start baling.
