3.4.2 Adjust the Height of the Wind Guard
Before starting the procedure
NOTE: Adjust the wind guard in a lower position with small swaths and a higher position with larger
swaths.
You must adjust the height of the wind guard to the thickness of the swath and the length of the forage:
Procedure
1. Disengage the Power Take-O (PTO) shaft, stop the tractor engine and remove the key.
2. Remove the chain (2) from the hook (1) from
the left and right side of the machine.
3. Hold the wind guard (3) at the necessary
height and install the correct chain link to the
hook on the left and right side.

4. Install the last chain link to the hook to make sure that the chain cannot go into the pick-up. Do this
on the left and right side of the machine.
3.4.3 Insert a Net Roll
Before starting the procedure
WARNING: Risk of injury.
Before you do work near the net knife, put on the net knife safeguard and make sure that
the net knife will not move.
CAUTION:
Risk of cuts
Always wear safety gloves when you do work near the net knife and with the net.
CAUTION:
Heavy load
Know that a net roll of 3000 m (9843 ft) with a width of more than 1.23 m (4.0 ft) can be
heavy (> 40 kg (88 lb)) and you must use two persons to install.
Procedure
1. Open the left side cover.
