Wrapping ring safeguard 1 (to prevent
lowering).
1. Make sure that the wrapping ring is in the transport position.
2. Turn the hydraulic valves (1) to the closed "OFF" position on the two sides of the wrapping ring.
1.4.16 Release the Wrapping Ring Safeguard 1
Procedure
Turn the hydraulic valves to the open "ON"
position on the two sides of the wrapping
ring.

1.4.17 Wrapping Ring Safeguard 2
The wrapping ring safeguard 2 is a hydraulic valve which locks the wrapping ring in the transport position.
Use the wrapping ring safeguard 2 when in the transport position or during maintenance. If the wrapping
ring is folded for extended periods of time you must attach a mechanical device to stop it turning.
This is necessary because hydraulic pressure loss can occur.
