To make sure that you lift safely, use a spreader or
a transport chain with a minimum length of 2.40 m
(7.9 ft). See also the decal with safe lifting
instructions. Use only lifting gear and equipment of
sucient capacity. Make sure that all lifting gear
and chains have approval for lifting, refer to the
local rules and regulations.
Before you lift the machine:
• The bale chamber must be empty
• Remove the net and film
• Attach all parts correctly to prevent movement
• Make sure that there is sucient space for the
machine
• Make sure that the floor is solid and can hold
the weight of the machine (see the VIN plate
on the machine. Use the PTAC value or add the
values A-0 and A-1 to calculate the weight of
the machine).

6.2.2 Attach the Machine to a Truck

Before you move, use straps and the approved eyes to attach the machine to the truck. If
you do not, it can cause injury and material damage.
