Store a name and number in the
directory
Use the following steps to store a name and
number in the directory.
1. Press
[DIR] to begin working with the directory.
2. Press
[ ] until the screen includes ADD ENTRY.
3. Press
[ENTER]. The screen displays ENTER
NAME.
4. Use the dial pad keys and the chart below to
enter the letters, digits or symbols you wish to
store. Press the key repeatedly until the desired
character shows on the screen. For example,
press [2] once for A, twice for B, three times
for C, four times for a, five times for b, six times
for c, and seven times for 2. Press [ ] to move
to the next character or space. Press [ ] to
backspace. The name appears on screen as you
enter it.

5. When you have finished entering the name,
press [ ] or [ ] to show DONE. Press [ENTER]
to enter the phone number. The screen displays
the name you entered and ENTER NUMBER.
