DTAD setup
MESSAGE LENGTH
Use this feature to set the maximum length of
recorded messages.
You can select the maximum length for the
messages callers can record. If you choose
UNLIMITED, the caller can record a message of
any length, up to the amount of time remaining
for all messages, memos, and announcements. If
you choose GREETING ONLY, the caller hears the
selected outgoing announcement but is not able
to record a message. If you choose 1 MINUTE, the
caller can record a message up to one minute.
1. Press
[ENTER].
2. Press
[ ] or [ ] until you see DTAD SETUP.
Press [ENTER].
3. Press
[ ] or [ ] until you see MESSAGE
LENGTH.
4. Press
[ ] or [ ] to choose the desired setting.

To move to the next feature, press [ ].

To exit setup, press and hold [ENTER].
NOTE: Only incoming messages can be limited
to one minute. Memos (page 75) and two-way
conversation messages (page 76) are unlimited
(up to the amount of time remaining).
