Answering system settings
To delete your outgoing announcement:
Using the telephone base:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
MENU to enter the main menu.
2. Press SELECT to select Answering system.
3. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2, and then
press SELECT .
4. Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
5. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to highlight Play annc, and
then press SELECT .
6. While the announcement is playing, press /DELETE to delete the
announcement. The screen shows Annc. Reset.
To reset your outgoing announcement:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
MENU to enter the main menu.
2. Press SELECT to select Answering system.
3. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2, and then
press SELECT .
4. Press SELECT again to select Announcement.
5. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to
highlight Reset annc, and then press SELECT .
The screen shows Reset to default annc?.
6. Press YES to conrm. The screen shows Announcement reset to default.
When your announcement is deleted, the system answers calls with the
default announcement described on page 123. You cannot delete the default
announcement.
