5. Press NEXT .
6. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to highlight one of the
following types:
X Home
X Cell
X Work
X Other
7. Press NEXT . The screen displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing keys (page
106) to enter a name.
X Press /DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
X Press and hold /DELETE to erase all characters.
X Press CID or /REPEAT to move the cursor to the le. Press DIR or
/SKIP to move the cursor to the right.
8. Press SAVE . The screen displays Saved. You hear a conrmation tone.
Delete a redial entry from the directory
Using a cordless handset:
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press CID or DIR, or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the
desired number displays.
3. Press MUTE/DELETE or DELETE to delete the displayed number. You hear
a conrmation tone.
Using a the telephone base:
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, /DELETE, or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to
browse until the desired number displays.
3. Press DELETE to delete the displayed number. You hear a conrmation tone.
