Telephone operation
Conference calls
To end a conference call:
Using a cordless handset:
Press OFF/CANCEL, or place the cordless handset into the charger. The call
continues until all people hang up.
Using the telephone base:
Press SPEAKER , 1 LINE, or 2 LINE, or put the corded handset back to the
telephone base. The call continues until all people hang up.
Using a cordless headset:
X If you joined the call using the cordless headset, press on the headset, or
place the headset in the charger. The call continues until all people hang up.
Conference calls on line 1 or line 2 with cell calls
When you have calls established on line 1 or line 2, and also a cell line, either in
use or on hold, you can create a 3-way conference.
To conference line 1 or line 2 with cell calls:
Using a cordless handset:
1. Press OPTION .
2. Press CID or DIR to highlight Conference.
3. Press SELECT . The conferencing devices’ screen display Lines now in
conference, followed by Conf.
Using the telephone base:
1. Press OPTION .
2. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, or /DELETE to highlight Conference.
3. Press SELECT . The conferencing devices’ screen display Lines now in
conference, followed by Conf.
Using a cordless headset:
X Press on the headset at any time to join the call.
To select an option while on a conference call:
Using a cordless handset:
1. Press OPTION .
2. Press CID or DIR to highlight one of the following options:
X End Line 1
X End Line 2
X End Cell A line
X End Cell B line
X Equalizer
X Caller ID log
X Directory
3. Press SELECT .
