Save a redial entry to the directory
Using a cordless handset:
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press CID, DIR , or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press SAVE .
4. The handset displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
X Press MUTE/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
X Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all digits.
X Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the le or right.
X Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
5. Press NEXT .
6. Press CID, DIR to select one of the following types:
X Home
X Cell
X Work
X Other
7. Press NEXT . The screen displays ENTER NAME. Use the dialing keys (page
106) to enter a name.
X Press MUTE/DELETE or BACKSP to erase a character.
X Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all characters.
X Press CID or DIR to move the cursor to the le or right.
8. Press SAVE . The screen displays Saved. You hear a conrmation tone.
Using the telephone base:
1. Press REDIAL/PAUSE in idle mode.
2. Press CID, DIR, /RECORD, /DELETE, or REDIAL/PAUSE repeatedly to
browse until the desired number displays.
3. Press SAVE .
4. The handset displays EDIT NUMBER. Use the dialing keys to edit the
number, if necessary.
X Press /DELETE or BACKSP to erase a digit.
X Press and hold /DELETE to erase all digits.
X Press CID or /REPEAT to move the cursor to the le. Press DIR or
/SKIP to move the cursor to the right.
X Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to insert a dialing pause (a p appears).
