Quick reference guide - telephone base
QUIET # (pound key)
X Press repeatedly to display other
dialing options when reviewing a
caller ID log entry.
X Press and hold to enter the
QUIET mode setting screen, or
to deactivate QUIET mode (page
64).
SPEAKER
X Press to make a call on line 1 or
line 2 using the speakerphone
(page 67).
X Press to answer a call on line 1,
line 2, cell A, or cell B line using
the speakerphone (page 67, or
page 70).
X Press to switch between
the corded handset and
speakerphone (page 81).
CELL A /CELL B
X Press to make or answer a cell call
(page 70).
X During a cell call, press to answer
an incoming call when you receive
a call waiting alert (page 72).
X Flashes quickly when there is an
incoming cell call.
X Flashes slowly when a cell call is
on hold.
HOLD
X During a call, press to put the
current call on hold (page 83).
/VOLUME/
X Press to adjust the volume during
message playback (page 135).
X Press to adjust the listening
volume during a call (page 82).
X When the phone is not in use,
press to adjust the telephone
base ringer volume for all lines.
FLASH
