Troubleshooting
I cannot retrieve voicemail messages.
X You
r telephone has both a built-in answering system and voicemail
indication. They are independent features and each alerts you to new
messages dierently (page 132). If you subscribe to voicemail service from
your telephone service provider, contact your telephone service provider for
more information on how to access your voicemail.
I’
ve set my LCD language to Spanish or French and I don’t know how to
change it back to English.
X Press MENU on your cordless handset or base in idle mode, and then
enter 364# on the handset or base. You hear a conrmation tone.
X Press OPTION on your cordless handset or base during a call, and then
enter 364# on the handset or base. You hear a conrmation tone.
I subscribe to a nontraditional telephone service that uses my computer to
establish connections, and my telephone doesn’t work.
X Make sure your computer is powered on.
X Make sure your Internet connection is working properly.
X Make sure that the soware is installed and running for your nontraditional
telephone service.
X If you are using a rewall, it may prevent access to your nontraditional
telephone service provider. Contact your service provider for more
information.
The light on the headset is o while charging.
X Make sure the power cord is plugged in correctly and securely.
X Make sure that the battery is securely installed in the cordless headset.
X Make sure the headset is sitting properly in the charger to charge.
X Unplug the unit’s electrical power. Wait for 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
Allow up to one minute for the cordless headset and headset charger to
reset.
X Clean the cordless headset and headset charger charging contacts each
month using a pencil eraser or dry cloth.
X Your headset or headset charger might be defective. Refer to the Limited
warranty section on pages 181-182 for further instructions.
