Telephone operation
NOTES:
X You can also use your cell phone to answer the call. If you answer with your cell phone, it
disconnects from the telephone base.
X If you do not want to answer the call, press REJECT .
X When you try to make a cell call but your cell phone is not connected to the base, the
telephone base displays Cellular phone not connected. Please connect to proceed. Press
CONNECT on the telephone base to connect your cell phone to the telephone system. Refer
to Bluetooth connection from idle mode on page 41 and Connect/disconnect an active
device on page 42.
X You can also make or answer a cell call using AT&T Sophone Call Manager. Please refer to
the Installation and Operation Guide in the CD-ROM which comes with the package.
Using a cordless headset:
To make a call:
1. Follow the instructions on the previous page to make a cell call using the
cordless handset or the telephone base.
2. Press on the headset at any time to join the call.
3. After you join the call, you can hang up the telephone and continue the call
on the headset.
To answer a call:
X Press on the headset.
To end a call:
X Press on the headset or place the headset in the headset charger.
