Discrete Output
The AVR8414 has the hardware option of having a discrete output or stereo audio. AVR8414s
with discrete output as an option can configure the discrete output to transition to an OPEN or
CLOSED state based on the signal chosen. Available signals are BIT Failure and REC Active.
BIT Failure
This signal will transition to the selected logic when the Built-In Test fails. Built-In Test failure
indicates that there has been a potential hardware failure.
REC Active
If either REC1 or REC2 is active, this will trigger the discrete output to switch to the selected
logic state.
