Procedure
1. Access the Screen Link and Mobile settings. From the XT Series web interface, select
Administrator Settings > Utilities > Remote Access > Screen Link/Mobile Link. From
the endpoint's main menu, select Configure > Advanced > Utilities > Remote Access >
Screen Link/Mobile Link.
2. Set the Mode field as required.
3. From the web interface only, select Save.
Remote Access - Screen Link/Mobile Link field descriptions
Name Description
Mode Disabled: Screen Link and Mobile Link are
disabled.
Enabled — No PIN: Screen Link and Mobile Link
are enabled and do not require a PIN.
Enabled — Ask PIN (manual pairing): This is
the default option. Screen Link and Mobile Link
only require a PIN if you want to select an XT
device other than the automatically-paired device.
The automatic pairing operates using an
ultrasonic sound that can be detected by any XTs
that are nearby.
Enabled — Ask PIN (always): Screen Link and
Mobile Link require a PIN for automatic pairing
and for manual pairing.
Remote Presentation Mode Automatic: Starts sending the presentation as
soon as Screen Link is activated.
Manual: Starts sending the presentation as soon
as the user clicks Present.
Screen Link Unpair Mode Manual: Unpairs the Screen Link manually.
Automatic: Unpairs the Screen Link client at the
end of the meeting, but only if the pairing was
started during the meeting.
When the meeting ends: Unpairs Screen Link
clients at the end of the meeting, even if the
pairing was started before the meeting (local
presentation mode).
