5 Installation
5.1 Mounting the 3D Controller and Joystick

O Mount the components of Marex 3D by following the
assembly instructions and observing the maximum cable
CAUTION
Risk of damage to persons and property as a result of
improper installation
Improper installation can cause damage to persons or
property.
O Only allow authorized personnel as per chapter 2.4. to
install Marex 3D and related components.
O Prepare installation work thoroughly.
O Eliminate possible causes for accidents.
O Make sure there is sufficient space to carry out the work.
O Provide enough space to mount the components
professionally.
O Handle sharp-edged parts with care.
O Only install Marex 3D components if all plugs are
removed and the components are powered off.
O Protect the power supply against being switched on
unintentionally as long as you work on the system.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to persons and property due to the use of
unsuitable cables
Using unsuitable cables can cause failures or malfunctions in
your Marex 3D system.
O We recommend to use cables from AVENTICS only.
Those are ready-made, shielded and fulfil the EMC
regulations.
